Harrier at Sharm El Sheikh

Can anyone shed any light on the Harrier GR7/9 at Sharm El Sheikh yesterday? Saw the RN 2-and-a-half pilot in the airport terminal and the ac sat on the tarmac as our charter taxied past at about 1700L. I couldnt make out the tail letters or the squadron markings.

Just curious...

cheers,

GW

Was Tracey, was.

MOD announced on 23 Jan 07 that they were now back at Cottesmore.

Sorry LAL, not the MOD this time, just sloppy post by me.

Understand that 800 are taking a well earned break before going to the Med in Illustrious in March with some good on-the-job training under their belts.

If 800 are as good on Harriers as they were on Sea Hawks (in'56) the poor sod was probably simply lost!

Surely there must be more bags in SES.

Or maybe he has the desert survival pamphlet open - don't mess with the local women.
