Hercules write-off

Whilst idly flicking through the current bun, as one does, I came across this snippet of information. Any truth behind it?

Sounds like someone at the Sun has got the wrong end of a very long stick, still, not the first time nor the last...

Coincidentally I just posted this 'exclusive' on the 'Parliamentary Questions...' thread, wondering what has prompted this.

Hello all,

I'm a civ air but this kind of story annoys me. Anyone have TOM NEWTON DUNN's email address? I think it is time I inform him of a few home truths!

The pics are a trifle small, but there's no sign of fire in that first photo (which I hadn't seen before), as far as I can see. Does that indicate that it wasn't hit in the air, I wonder? Does it support the landmine theory?

The port inner looks feathered already, though.
