Change to LSA - Apr 07

Announced 30 Nov.

From Apr 07 (coincident with rollout of JPA to the Army), the requirement to serve separated for 100 initial qualifying days in order to begin receiving LSA level 1 will be scrapped.

Does that mean that our current totals will be adjusted again and reduced by 100 days? If so, I see yet another cock-up looming.

A good question well put, Melchett. There has to be some sort of interim adjustment, unless Band 1 is to become 400 days wide. Unfortunately the announcement didn't go into that sort of detail. Perhaps they haven't realised yet. Oh dear, I think we have just let the cat out of the bag!
