The old 'coloured Vodka in a mouthwash bottle' trick isn't exactly new, it was going on during GW1 too.

Most British soldiers in the war zones can have a maximum of two cans of beer a day on their base.

Ministry of Defence Chiefs have imposed rules on what troops can receive from Britain to avoid upsetting their hosts

????? Avoid upsetting their hosts...??? Am I missing something here ? I suppose the odd mortar round or 130mm shell is ok then...as long as the boys don't get hold of a copy of readers wives.....wouldn't want to "upset" the hosts...
