I was expecting lots of tiny pieces but the rear fuselage seems remarkably intact.

2 rolls of black nasty and a tube of supa glue and it'll be right as rain... well as good as anything else left on the pan.....

Hope the drivers kit insurance was up to date!

Can anyone see where the engines are? it looks as if the impact with the sea litterly ripped them out the mounts, quite unbelievable. as previously stated, fin fantastically intact, and would make a great addition to the sqn bar I am sure!!!

Any word yet to the cause, or at least the reasons behind the crew jumping out?

I'd heard it was a multiple birdstrike, but then I'll probably get flamed for speculating.
