The BBC sports personality of the year 2006 is up for grabs again. Can I ask for you to consider voting for Mick Gault?
Why? see here for his sporting prowess. He's also inthe RAF!

Good on Mick Gault!

CanI just say though, he doesn't do a proper sport. He fires a bloomin air pistol at a target not very far away! Surely by that rationale he isn't an Olympic sportsman. Please no?

Whether you feel shooting is a sport is your personal view. I believe that it is just as valid as riding a horse or diving off a board - maybe not a physical sport, but a sport nonetheless.
Also remember that for the pistol events (not air) he, and everyone else in the GB team, have to go abroad to practice - and they still win!

Could I also ask people to vote for Lawrie Sanchez as manager of the year as he has increased our FIFA rankings over 70 places to 45th in the last 3 years which is some record for any manager. We are also now ahead of the RoI and Wales in the rankings which is a pretty big thing over here. He has also pulled off wins against Spain and England as well as others and draws against Portugal etc(All top 10 teams).

Please Guys because he deserves some credit.
