Afghanistan footage

Having recently returned from the other sand pit, thought you might find this video footage interesting - the original link was posted on ARRSE. Oh and it works better with the sound turned up - there's nothing quite like the sound of a HMG in Dolby 5.1 to get OC Police worried about what is going on on his turf

It's footage of 3 Para operating out of the Sangin platoon house earlier this summer. And when you are watching this, thinking bloody hell I wouldn't have wanted to be a Para, spare a thought for the rotary crews - they had to fly into the middle of these fire fights. Now that's balls of steel for you

Woka

I suspect we may have worked together at some point over the summer ..... I'll leave you guessing my nom de guerre, but I was round the JHF bird table at Bastion for a while this summer. I can imagine the nightmares ...... our nerves were shredded just waiting for you guys to come back each time!
