Does anyone remember Spike Milligan, " Intelligence speaking " !
I did two tours in Aldergrove in the Int. Cell in the early 80's. Being the witty little shiite I am I started answering the phone "Duhhhh, Intelligence" and great merriment ensued throughout the province... After a week or two this was becoming a bit of a habit and one day I answered the phone in this manner only to receive a curt "Airborne! My office" from my Sqn. Cdr. Five minutes later and with a one way chat under my belt I was back in the Int. Cell...

Roll forward a couple of days. Seventeen hours into a 24 hour shift so it's very, very late-o-clock and the phone rings... "Duhhh, Intelligence..." was responded to with... "FFS Airborne, my office AGAIN!!!!"...

That "chat" broke the habit...
