Well the report does say
Airman selected as Miss Arkansas USA
So I guess he/she just turned his/her name around and intstead of George Kelly he/she just became Kelly George.
Can we compete? Yes.

It's not happened for the RAF yet, but I understand a sailor came second in a certain pageant for gentlemen earlier this year...
