Robbing Peter to pay Paul?

Any truth in the rumour that ME guys are being pulled back early from CFS tours to the frontline sqns due to a lack of pilots?

Thought it was a frontline 'rest' tour when I left....Or have too many seen the light?

Sang,
Not that i've heard of in the EFT world. In fact, almost to the contrary - i've heard that recently a calling notice went around the RW world for budding QFIs. With the changes in Sep 05 to the UAS system a number of QFIs returned to the front-line early.

Could be a different story elsewhere though.

....and God knows, it sounds like a "rest-tour" has never been more needed for most than at the current Op tempo
