Anyone know the facts relating to BBC Radio 2's report (11.00 bst 27 Sep 06) that "a soldier involved in helicopter operations has died in Herefordshire, although the fatality was not connected to an ac crash"?

Yes. Happened on Monday. No, you can't have the facts until they are released properly, which should be soon.

Don't guess the facts on this one, or speculate please......

A brave young man, training for exacting duty. Such men are a rare find, and this is a sad loss.

His family can be proud.
