Bet you can't chop down a radio mast with a Mirage and still walk away from the aeroplane!

Eh? Are you an Int O?

The F3 landed safely from the mast collision and was flying again after a wing change. Wotsyapoint?

No worries; been there, done that. Make the most of it before the Fuller family get greedy.

Good flying that day. I missed all the excitement, though; down in Mare Harbour playing with the boats. I also missed Radio Benny for the rest of my tour.

Do you think the effectiveness of Military operations is being impacted by the absence of FJ's and crews shooting video's for Youtube? Is the real reason why they need another Harrier in Afghanistan, as a chase plane for the air-to air shots?

Yes. Well, the absence of useful ones, yes.

Mark D,

Thanks for posting the link. It made me almost nostalgic for the place! Some great air-to-air video. I have a creaky old VHS tape of the F4s doing much the same - I mst find it and watch it again, along with 'Life of Brian'.

Wow!, the Mirage must be a special aircraft, What, with the ability to do all that stuff in one flight with so little fuel! awesome!

I see they now have flares, a HUD and missiles. I'm scarred!

And those bombs that require you to overfly the target to get them to hit, wow, they are good!

Distinct lack of Harrier gunsight footage however!

Anybody know how to convert these Tube Shockwave movies back into an avi/mpg to retain it?
