Low Level Hawk Video
A little video I have made after a few days climbing in Wales. This is the first time I have ever made a video so please excuse any camera shake.
Due to a 100MB limit on youtube.com, the quality you guys can see has suffered, appologies for this. The original is of a much, much higher standard! Last's about four and a half minutes.
Hope you enjoy

Great footage; well done. A minor point, though; you need to stand further away from the joker with the trannie. He's ruined the music from the aeroplanes.

The other aircraft is in 'Fighting Wing' formation and is the wingman. Normally the wingman will be in 'Battle' formation, i.e parallel fuselages at approx 1.5k's providing cross cover, but in a valley this cannot be maintained, so the wingman closes in to 'Fighting Wing' and maintains height above the leader. Hope that helps.

Pairs in fighting wing, a tactical formation. Just a neat way of getting a formation round a valley at LL. The number 2 always stays high at low level. For terrain and collision avoidance. 2 also probably the stude, his job, just hang in there.
IS jolly good fun.

Fantaman,
You have probably captured here the single answer to about 200 pages of threads asking "why should I put up with all this crap in the services?" Hard to imagine a more pleasant way to get around Wales.

Don't listen to the more...ehem..senior members of the thread whinging about the soundtrack.
They might prefer maybe Genesis, or perhaps some ELO next time...
Needless to say, top vid, nice one.
By the way, when was the footage taken?

Fantaman, I loved it. Great work.
Soudtrack is a little odd, but hey, I can work with it. I'm "street". I'm down with the kids. I like to wear my jeans low.
Seriously, great stuff. It's not often we're featured on a video. I'm glad we made your day that day, and glad you've made mine. Ta. Mrs QFI really enjoyed it too.
