XX894 rolling

Hi all, just al ittle update from the Bucc lads at Brunty, they managed to slowly roll 894 under her own power last Sunday, well done all.
Here's to next years open days

Latest LPG news is;
Our next antidet run is next Saturday with 904 , 728 is still very poorly with 3 snags and will need a few months head scratching and kuckle bleeding before she's fit again.

Q shed is static at the moment, we are half way there to the money needed for the floor
Cheers

What a beauty, shall have to get along there some day soon.

The Buccaneer is my alltime fav heavy metal, after having to duck when one went over me on a Northumbrian hilltop near Spadeadam.

Does Bruntingthorpe accept visitors in light aircraft?

Forgive my ignorance, but can I contribute to a fund to help get it in the air?

Great effort to all involved - I look forward to re-aquainting myself with the jet again next year - that view from the cockpit is oh so familiar.

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

Even Mrs PN likes the Bucc after a crew waved at her as she was descending the Drumochter and a Bucc slowly overtook her, inverted, as it crested the ridge.

That's when she looked at the speedo - 125

Yes, just give the gate a ring before you leave, they will give you the freq to call up on arrival, no. is 0116 2478494

We shall be giving 904 a stir next Saturday, come along and introduce yourself

Cheers

The frequency they should give you is: 122.825Mhz. As Andy said the airfield is strictly PPR only.
