Merlin over Edinburgh

Hi - Anybody tell me what the low flying merlin was doing over edinburgh today? spectacular sight, looked like some sort of recce, not that you'd find much of interest in this neck of the woods though!

Appreciate the reply, sorry my rotary knowledge rather non-existent, nonetheless a beautiful sight.

Just googled up the lynx, and by crikey, you are spot on, thats the b*gger I saw!
