I cant believe we are overlooking the finest turbo-prop demonstration team in the world, the RAAF ROULETTES.
These guys are airmanship personified!!! They are the elite pilots of the RAAF.
We get a lot of noise complaints in Australia so the turbo-prop PC9 works well in that regard. You can hardly hear them!

Sad to see the `Blues` lost a fine aviator.....
Pity no-one picked up that 54 Sqn flew their Vampire F3`s to Canada and the USA between 1 July `48 and 26Aug `48, on the first Atlantic jet crossing as a `goodwill` exercise. They also carried out formation displays at Trenton, Montreal and Toronto in Canada, then Andrewsfield,Greenville, Langley, Mitchell Field, and finally Idlewild NY,before returning to Odiham.
Agree with BEagle about the teams, but the tightest 4-ship was the Belgian Hunter team, led by a Flg.Off, and 3 Flt/Sgt`s/W/O`s. Tighter than the `Blues`, sadly disbanded after Abingdon `68..
