How To Join THe Royal Air Force

Someone saw a business opportunity here:

http://www.how2become.co.uk/royalairforce.htm

And its being advertised right here on PPRuNe. For a mere £9.99 plus p&p and VAT folks, you can apparently unlock the secrets to getting into the RAF. Wonder if it really works?

When I were a lad we used to do our own research ...... and live in't shoebox in middle't road. Them youngsters of today want everything handed't 'em on plate!

Naaaaaahhhhhh! Don't do it! Save yourselves! Warning - may contain traces of nuts! Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

The authors should put in it:
"at the OASC interview tell the Officers that to prepare you bought a £9.99 'How to join the RAF' guide from the internet. They will be impressed by your thinking outside the box attitude"

Does the author put a USAF FJ (F-15?) pilot on the front of his CD because he is ashamed of the RAF's kit, or is he missing something? - ie credibility.

The picture they are using to advertise it has someone in some distinctly non-RAF looking AEA. I hope the rest of their research is more accurate!

*EDIT* bugger! beaten to it.......

The 'How to Get RAF Fit' disk must be a great product - extensive research boiled down to the incisive advice of 'drink lots of beer and do f k all exercise'.

If anyone wanting to join is on here, don't bother with the disc. It is designed for P3 (Ground Trades) entry and only contains exactly what the AFCO will give/tell you. We already provide you with example questions and tell you what each section contains. We also tell you whats in the interview and how to do your research. There is no "secret" to how to get through our process, just do a bit of research on the net, look and listen at/to what the AFCO tell you and get fit using our free guidance. Save yourselves a tenner. (Copyright Pickle Ltd 2006)

Edited to include copyright in light of LJR's advice.
