Sea Jet Video

After some complaints about the amount of French Air force vids out there I thought some of you might like this one.

Addendum

Perhaps I should point out before someone else does, that these are RAF Harrier GR7s embarked. Check the 4 Sqn markings on the intake. Of course the pilot might have been RN....pity we didn't get the full coverage of the run down the 'Grand Canyon' in Oman.

Charlie,

Funny, the film starts with the title "800 NAS, Ex Magic Carpet 2006" and the aircraft has 800 Naval Air Squadron markings. And they are GR7As.

Roll on later this year when 801 Naval Air Squadron forms and Joint Force Harrier is truly 50/50 and Joint - excepting of course senior RAF attitudes.

Fly Navy, you know it makes sense.

Ah yes. 800 NAS on magic carpet this year. It's a shame the video doesn't highlight the 2 'Rogue' Paveways. The one that missed the range shelter by 10 metres and the t'other that, well, missed the range, nay, the country by a few hundred miles. Found that one yet have we? Yes, we can't wait til the next NAS forms at Cott too, hopefully with some trained competent groundcrew who know what a 700 is (but thats another story ).

Handy hint: if you're going to give someone stick for not being competent, at least spell it correctly!!

Oooh, no, sweetie! Didn't you know that the RN loves a little rouge on its Paveways? Makes them look ever so butch, dear.

The rouge has to be applied by competent personnel, of course!

All very impressive in undefended airspace. Add half a dozen Mig 29s and repeat.

DirtyGC, you should be careful where you throw mud my friend, it was in fact the RAF QWI left on the Sqn who made the error in said incident, an error alot of mud movers have made I might add, from all services.
