Air refueling probes.

I was wondering if any military air crew could identify this device attatched to an air refueling probe for me.

Looks like the standard USAF Marshmallow Toasting Fork.
Simply stick Marshmallows on the spikes, spray a touch of Avtur and ignite, pass boom down to recieving aircraft, and have one happy flight desk with lots of lovely toasted Marshmallows.

most pilots spend their career trying to avoid icing - flying + icing = not flying so well anymore, extra weight and buggered aerodynamics...
test pilots however pay for the chance to fly amazing new machines first by having to do all manner of crazy (but nessecary for the rest of us - thanks guys) testing
