Smile L@@K!! New OASC guidance website!!!

HI,

Just to let everyone know, I have created an OASC guidance website with the help of Mike Jenvey. It covers all aspects of OASC and I will do my best to keep it up to date!

www.oascprep.co.uk

If anyone has any comments, suggestions or updates please let me know :-)

[email protected]

I thought this would take some of the work out of searching endless posts about OASC and then trying to verify whether things have changed since etc.

Feedback would be appreciated!

Cheers
Rich.

Spot on... Bookmarked with all the other various OASC help threads and sites. Looks like it will be helpful for someone like me!

But, out of interest, what would OASC's thoughts be on a site like this? Isn't one of the aspects of the selection process 'dealing with the unexpected' ?

Not knocking it at all though... all help is good help!

Im not sure what their take on it would be but at the end of the day, all of the information is available on here. I just know from experience that it is a ball ache having to trawl through years worth of posts to find some information and then you find at the last minute that it isnt up to date and things have changed etc.

Whether you know what to expect or not, it won't change your aptitude or officer potential!!

Ill see what peoples thoughts are anyway and if its no use ill take it down.

Rich.

I've found your site quite useful, and I don't thimk you should take it down (even though it's directed at UK recruiting). I'd agree that it's a pain searching through so many threads, and I've also noticed the same questions coming up in some of the new threads.

Its good to have a personal site by someone who's actually been through the process, to add to existing info on careers websites.

Thanks for your efforts,

Ed

Website U/S???

First and foremost, a big thank you to the guys who decided to create the website, a helpful and kind gesture to aspiring Officers and Aircrew
I have visited it recently in preperation for my OASC visit and found it quite helpful, but the only problem is that today i tried to get back onto it but all i can get on the screen is a Tornado in a HAS somewhere sandy with no links or anything to click on. Just want to know if it is me (or more like my tempremental workstation!) or if the site is U/S or under construction? Dont mean to moan or complain because I think its a great idea, please take no offence!!!

The HTML for the links is messed up. Easy mistake to make and has probably done a copy / paste of the index before entering the page address.
http://www.oascprep.co.uk/www.oascpr...roduction.html
is not a valid link !!!!
http://www.oascprep.co.uk/oasc_introduction.html is the correct code from the intro screen.
