Medical discharge and FRI

Hi fellas,
need a bit of advice.
Its looks as if I will be in the position of getting a medical discharge from the RAF, however this brings up a few questions.

1. Having received my 17 year retention bonus 3 years ago and promising to stay till my 22 year point. Does any one know if I will have to pay this back on leaving early ?

2. Having served 20 years would I qualify for an SIP automatically ? (obviously my medical condition was not of my own doing)

3. How long do these things generally take to sort out.

4. Why are the jpac so useless in answering these questions ?

Any advice would be much appreciated guys, obviously the financial element is the most concerning.
