GREEK F16 V TURKISH F4

Just seen the BBC news regarding tyhe mid air between Greek F16 and Turkish F4. Hope the crews are ok, however amazed this is still going on.

It was bound to happen eventually. These guys "joust" quite regularly.

Except the inept BBC reporters stated there was a collision between Greek and Turkish F-14 jets.......

Daft situation really to still be going on......

Actually the BBC Initially reported it as a Greek F-16 and a Turkish RF-4e, they only changed it to F-14 in the past half hour for some reason!

I believe the Turkish pilot banged out but was picked up from the Aegean.

Looks like I picked the wrong time to book a holiday in Cyprus!

Latest update now says it was 2 F-16's, Turkish guy safe, no word on the Greek pilot. Here's hoping.

Heard a rumour that 2 Italian F-16s were lost in midair near Deci as well, both guys ok apparently.

And to think that just a couple of days ago they were voting for each other in Eurovision.
