SIXTY SQN 90th ANNIVERSARY - 25 MAY 06
Sixty Squadron will commemorate its 90th anniversary on Thu 25 May 06 at the DHFS, RAF Shawbury. A service of commemoration will be followed by a full flying display, including Spitfire, Hurricane, Chinook & Merlin.
Now the largest, & statistically the busiest, flying training unit in the UK, the Squadron has recently taken on Royal Navy pilot & aircrewman training as well.

10 day's notice. Longest flash to bang ever associated with the Running Goat. No offence to current serving mates, but can we have a little more heads up for the 100th? Some of them owe me money and I know they're still alive. It takes a while to assemble a decent legal snatch squad. I have photos. You know who you are.
