28 Sqn tasked to take senior JHC staff to hotel?
Rumour reaches Artist Towers that a 28 Sqn Merlin was tasked this pm to collect about 10 senior JHC staff from Wilton and take them to a flash hotel. Collect Weds, I hear.
Obviously the duty driver and transport was not up to snuff?

If only it were false - most of the crew were invited to the annual Artist Towers garden party, so we had to make do with a flypast on the outbound leg.

How about a Wessex tasked to fly the 4 minute transit High Wycombe to Benson to deliver AOC Strike to his waiting T Jag to wizz up to Scotland and return a few hours later laden with Arbroath smokies? 10 years ago, before you ask. Some things never change.
