Straw demoted - Iran Next?
I hope not. Some political observers have sumised that Jack Straw was moved on due to his 'we won't be attacking Iran' stance, and that TB's boss in the White House has complained, as this option is on firmly the table. I know a lot of servicemen who will not be duped by the Government's lies this time, and will refuse to participate in an act of illegal agression. Lets hope that this is not Tony and George's Last Stand.
There are indeed media reports of Mad George phoning the Poodle to complain about Straw's stance on Iran...
Incidentally, the BBC quotes Trust-me-Tone as saying "Mrs Beckett was an outstanding politician who was a 'safe pair of hands' with much international experience."
'Safe pair of hands'? Isn't that a euphemism for 'will do as she's told'?
