58D

Was sitting just north of Bagdad the other night when this American came up on the frequency, obviously the only one he could raise and was talking about a 58 Delta.

Can anyone tell me what a 58D is?

Cheers takes out the mystery, sounded like he was guiding a couple of Apache's in for what he described as 'boom' 'boom'

Was all a bit exciting, at 2 in the morning it don;t take much especially on a civi freq.

We didn't know if it was a code or a designator.
