APACHE TROUBLE IN SPTA

Was there a serious incident involving an AH64 on SPTA on Thursday evening?

So I guess the Apache on a low loader complete with a police escort (Nice Jag by the way) returning to EGVP today following a tail strike does not count then!

The Apache is supposed to have a tail strike every time it lands - it's a tail wheeler after all. Are you suggesting a bent boom or damaged tail rotor?

I understand that the TR is likely to have a problem, but not caused by any mechanical malfunction or failure.
