B 52 IFE 1991

Hi all,

I am presently transcribing a tape which covers a B52 IFE back in February 1991.

There are a number of references that have me beat.....

Firstly to the callsigns...

Faircatch

Red cedar

Three Geese [ Fairford ? ]

Black Knight [Mildenhall ? ]

.....and also , with reference to munitions.....

"Cookies" which I deduce are HE "dumb " bombs

"our Dog is Hot "

and.... "we have pickled Halapinos"

Following a BUS problem the flight tossed its cookies and made a successful landing at Palermo.

Can anyone help me out please ?

Many thanks,

John
