That Billy Connelly song

Hello fellow Proons.
Sorry to clog up the forum with lame requests but can anyone direct me to that Billy COnnelly song about the TA, "But I'll be home in time for tea...." etc?
Tried everywhere, found nothing. Need it to relentlessly banter a TA mate who's off to the Land of Sand to finally (and single-handedly) sort out their issues. If ONLY they'd asked him sooner!
Many thanks.
TR

Hi TR, if you have the name of the song, Google 'song lyrics' and then enter your title into the search box... I have never yet been unable to obtain lyrics to a song...

(Apart from a spoof version of The Girl From Iponaema (sp) which was based on an essex girl, extremely funny if you have ever heard it!)

Still hunting for the lyrics TR but here's a starter:

Territorial Army

That was it, and I joined the Territorial Army, to make myself a bit more exotic. I did, I did. It was the parachute regiment, and I got my red baret, and I looked like acne. Had my uniform, and I got my wings and everything. We did an execise once, it was a complete and utter waste of time, as the entire Territorial Army is. We did an exercise... it's a dreadful waste of time and money. I swear, I mean we did an exercise on Cyprus. All us paratroopers and the Kyrenia Mountains - with my gun. And we chased.. the parachute regiment chased the Green Howards through the mountains for ten days. And we caught one. There were thousands of us, armed to the teeth, bajonets down our trousers, and it was great and I was posing. Everybody looked like Rambo. And we caught this poor bastard, and he worked in the same shipyard as me. He was a Territorial, too. It was great, I could have sneaked up behind him in the cantine and saved the country a fortune.

TR,

You can always trust a Mover to come up with the goods.

Weekend Soldier
(Billy Connolly)
Chorus:
I am a weekend soldier
And the world is scared of me
I've fought a million battles
And I'm always home in time for tea

When I was just a spotty youth, and tired of being ignored
One day I said to myself, Iain, why are you so bored?
I wanted some adventure, some excitement and some power
So I went to the local Territorials, I joined within the hour

I've been in the army for some time now, even the sausages are nice
Hey, this is the way to see the world, boys - I've been to Edinburgh twice
And all you left-wing radicals, don't give me any of your cheek
And have your demonstration on a Saturday, for I have to work all the week

I've been in the army for three years now, I enjoy playing at the games
And when I put my uniform on I feel like big John Wayne
My camouflage jacket fits me perfectly but the trousers could be improved
I have to take three steps or more before they even start to move

(as sung by Iain MacKintosh)

Whilst we are on Billy C, does anyone have a link to the one about the union negotiator and went along the lines "We want more o'this, and some'o that,".. and finished "and tomorrow we will change our minds."?

That's not about a union negotiator; it's about women. (Seriously, it is)
