The Man With Half a Brain

Take a look at this video clip of a US soldier injured in Iraq. I can't believe he didn't have more brain damage.

Agreed, a lucky chap. This reminded me of the story of Robert Lawrence MC who was shot in the head during the battle for Tumbledown during the Falklands.

...Lawrence also an amazingly lucky fellow. As a very young Teeters I once babysat an extremely young Robert Lawrence - his father was a wing commander at the time.
Nothing like having babysat an MC to make you feel old (and that made me feel old in 1982!!) ......

Was serving with his older brother at the time of his injury. Met him a few times in the bar after he came out of hospital - a very lucky guy who adapted well to his situation.
