Captain Chris Tarrant of OTT fame

Here's a picture of Captain Tarrant on the bridge oh HMS Thingie in his official dressing gown giving his occifers a good old tongue lashing:
I think it's important to mention that all the news stories overlooked the fact that the crew got to wear their choice of dressing gown too.
(note: monkey in background is a German spy)
Even though the first rule of comedy is to not overdo something, here is Captain Tarrant reading a secret signal from the Admiralty. His dressing gown is plainly visible.
Not only is Captain Tarrant accused of dishing out verbal tirades, but the punishments he handed out to his men were often considered unduly harsh as illustrated here:
In fairness though, a quick glace at the pelvic area makes it plainly obvious that this is the standard issue naval body armour.
