Bet the Red Arrows Cant do This

Just looked at the latest copy of ZOO Magazine(not that I read it ) and its got 2 x F-16's from the USAF Thunderbirds flying a mirror image, Belly to Belly only 18 inches apart.

Zoo reckons the Red Arrows cant do this.

Something for the Red Arrows to consider hey, and prove them wrong (unless they have already done this)

The aircraft in the T-birds mirror pass are displaced laterally - it just appears that they are belly to belly from the crowdline perspective.

Think about it - if they were really belly to belly, how is it supposed that they would judge the separation distance?

Edited because I found some pics:

All I know is that I dont doubt the Red Arrows Ability to do anything.

I dont really know much about formation flying, nor do I claim to but yes I heard that lots of the time the aircraft look mch closer than they really are

But then again the T-Birds don't do it with 9 a/c either! Really impressive to see that many go wheeling around in impeccably tight formation.

(Have only seen a photo of the 22 Hunters, but wow!)

1. Express a sentence that doesn't include the words 'me' or 'I'
2. Construct any sort of self-deprecating statement.
3. Give you a working definition of humility.

The Reds I've met have been genuinely nive guys who enjoyed a bit of banter and a beer.
They've made it, unlike those that nearly make it, they dont need to tell you how great they are, their emploi says it all.

I'm sure you took great pains to explain to them just how wonderful they were!

I wanna talk about me
Wanna talk about I
Wanna talk about number one
Oh my me my
What I think, what I like, what I know, what I want, what I see
I like talking about you, usually, but occassionally
I wanna talk about me
I wanna talk about me

It's all banter, mate!

...er, you can get treatment on the NHS for your condition. You appear to be overdosed on cynical.

Surely an inverted barrel roll is harder than a simple pass upside down.....

Not that I wish to stir this up at all, but how can you tell when you're half way through a date with a pilot?

He says "Well enough talking about me, let's talk about flying."

I accidentally said something funny once and everyone commented on what good banter it was.

You'll understand one day

Have a lovely weekend
