Tony Featherstone
It is with much sadness I learned from another thread (posting by "Jenkins) that Tony Featherstone has passed away. Consequently I thought a separate topic should be started in his memory.
Tony was a Flight Commander on 46 Sqn (Andovers) when I knew him and "Jenkins" is so so right in his summation: Qte: A gentle man, a gentleman. Unqte
He was a regular attendee at the 46 Reunions until ill health prevented his attendance in recent years. He was a man who just naturally commanded respect from all who knew him both for his professional flying abilities and his most caring personality.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
May you Rest in Peace Tony. God Bless.

Please forgive the question but is that the same Tony Featherstone (Wg Cdr) who was OC Flying Training at Finningley in the early 80s?
