I think a pillow accompanied by a hot bit of Danish totty would relax the soldiers a little bit more.

PILLOWS!

You were Lucky! Every night we used to have to go to sleep in the middle of a live firing range with our eds resting on broken glass while the Sgt Maj used to send us to sleep by marching across our heads singing 'pack up your troubles in your old kit bag'. And we thought we were lucky. You tell the kids that these days and they just dont believe you!

So, how is this talking pillow supposed to work if you take your hearing aid out when you go to sleep?

Talking

.....yes, because RAF messes don't stock biteable pillows as a matter of routine. Unlike Navy Wardrooms. Hence they're best off carrying their own....

etc etc
