I see you have seen my whaaa but I was really expecting someone to see my whaaa and raise me a whaa.
Maybe by asking why there is a Sea King as a gate gaurdian in Akt but they have called the road Whril Wind rd???

And who were the naughty people who redcorated the front of the newly painted officers mess. I'm sure that LXX sqn are a fine bunch of upstanding individuals, (aircrew excepted) however the yellow is not quite right.

Surprised at the lack of a rejoiner from Beags yet, telling us that whaaaing is rubbish because;
a) the RAF was a much better place thirty years ago and,
b) if it is slightly amusing it's only because he invented it/wrote the paper that first proposed it as a form of service humour...

I have a pic of the O's mess at lyneham in LXX colours how ever I can't work out how to put the picture on the thread (NO WHAA). Can someone tell me how to do it. Give me 20 mins and Im sure I can work it out
To post your own images, you need to host them in a suitable website photo album such as http://photobucket.com/ in .jpg format. Then copy the Img link into your text and voila! For example, since we were talking of Pinky and Perky (sorry it's a bit big, but re-sizing causes undesirable artifacts):
