Sea Harriers cancelled at Leuchars?
Only last week, 4 Sea Harriers were on the flying display line up for the Leuchars Air Show. While a tad optimistic, I reckoned at least one would make it up for the weekend.
Checking the airshow website the day before, I now see no Sea Harriers on the flying line up, only on the static park.
Has somebody been breaking expensive toys down at Yeovilton?
Shame, seeing as it was to be one of the last few chances to see the Sea Harrier in display at a UK airshow.

There was a SHAR display listed in the show programme, but according to the tannoy neither of the two a/c that departed Yeovilton made it to Leuchars - one apparently had to make an emergency landing on the beach at Sunderland
