PMA pre-selection of successful redundancy candidates?

Heard a rumour the other day suggesting that PMA may have decided on (at least one) successful redundancy candidate before the board considered the case. Does anyone else know they are successful in tranche 2? does it matter?

I understand that one candidate was selected due to his specialisation (?) no longer exisiting and, therefore, was automatically selected but all other candidates have been presented to the boards.

What is the official date for the announcments of who has been selected? And any more news about the Beccams (not sure of spelling?) report that is likely to suggest more redundancies to come!

Believe it's 30 Sept for Tranche 2 announcements same day I finish as a Tranche 1 selectee. Hope it's not starting to have an adverse effect on those left behind to pick up the workload.
