Bohemian Frigate
I see the sun has 'obtained' a copy of Campbletown's Bohemian Rhapsody video and is selling it here in aid of the Armed Forces Memorial Appeal (50p a go).

Worth a go even if it just for the Padre's stint.

I note our super soaraway Sun ends the article:
"GIVE US A WING: NOW we’ve seen what the Army and Navy can do, let’s hear it from the RAF. We’re sure Britain’s airmen must be brimming with talent. Show what you can offer, folks!"
Oh dear.....what could possibly go wrong...?

Bring back the 205 Squadron Male Voice Choir and Cultural Ensemble.
Ah those far-off promenade concerts when the beautiful baritone of the resident soloist rendering "Old Penang" might lead in to the choir's tear jerking, politically incorrect arrangement of "Abide With Me" and a grande finale of "From the Jungles of Majunga" with the audience joining in
All Squadrons could field a decent choir when the RAF flew proper aeroplanes. With all this scientific modern warfare, young chaps are forced to waste good carousing time studying modern technology when they should be learning the words to "Eskimo Nell" or choreographing a tidy rendition of "Swing Low" and other important military traditions.
