Medical for FAA

Folks,

I recently passed my AIB and FATs with decent scores but think I may fail the medical on hearing grounds.

My hearing is absolutely fine but I seem to have a dip at about the 1khz range of about 30-40db. CAAMB down at Sultan got me to get retested at Faslane (as I stay in Glasgow) but the result was the same.

Off my own back I have seen a couple of consultants and done more tests and am waiting to hear back from them.

Was just wondering if anyone knows the exact hearing parameters that would allow you in as pilot?

Cheers,

Andrew
