I am hearing about a few people who didn't put anything on the back of the form, and got it.

Need to send it in, not sure what to write

Anyone know anything about the Beckham report? No, nothing to do with football fixtures, but the suggestion that a 1/3rd of the Engineer branch could be replaced with MoD civilians?

Taxability of RAF redundancy payment?

Is the RAF redundancy payment taxable?

And if it is, at what rate? i.e. is it just tacked atop your annual income and therefore all taxed at the highest rate of tax?

OVERTALK

The redundancy payment is not taxed and if you are eligible for a pension, the gratuity element of that is also untaxed. I can give you an indication of what you can expect to receive if you PM me.
