Angel Fleet Air Arm OASC

To whoever it amy concern, I have my flying aptitude tests in approximately a month for the Fleet Air Arm, and was wondering if anybody could help me. I feel fairly confident on the speed distance time questions, but wish to know if the majority involve working out how long Time rather than distance or speed?! Also, I understand there are questions like: "If aircraft A leaves point X at 13:10 and travels ay 900 knots, whilst aircraft B leaves point Y at 13:20 and travels at 600 knots, when will they meet"

Can somebody please post me examples of such questions if they do arise, and how to work these out, as I want to be as prepared as I can possibly be. Also, are there other mathematical aspects, such as Pythagorus (not sure about that spelling!! Lol!!) etc? did a search, but didn't come up with much that helped me!!

Also, in regards to the aircraft instrumentaion test, are all the answers similar, or is there an "obvious" answer which will jump into mind after a little bit of thought?

Any such replies would be HUGELY (emphasis) appreciated,

Thanks for reading,

Careful - those books are unlikely to deal with FLYING aptitude testing.

This subject has been covered a number of times on Pprune. Start using the search facility looking for 'OASC' or 'aptitude' etc. Also, go throught the forum titles for the last 4 or 5 months for relevant headings. I seem to remember the question appearing fairly recently.

Good luck...
