Pvr Fri - Advice Please
As some of you know I have decided enough is enough and time for me to go into the big bad world (and boy is weight off my mind!). However, I took FRI last year and am now looking for some advice and a heads up for when my PVR letter eventually hits the pay desks?
I have heard stories that your pay just stops there and then or is it recovered out of your lump sum? How do I go about negotiating with the Taxman the recovery of the £20,000?
I have conducted a quick search and although the topic is referred to, the detailit isn't actually covered-however always willing to be corrected if it is hidden in a thread.
Thanks

If you were paid an FRI of £20K then they will take the full £20K out of your final lump sum. You then have to claim back the tax you paid from the Inland Revenue.
