attack from the inside
A very long time ago when I was an air cadet on summer camp we all got the chance to "work" in one of the sections on the station for a day most of us elected for a day of fixing aircraft or playing with guns with the rockapes but one of the cadets elected to be a storeman for a day.
He returned to us fitted out from head to toe in new kit .........perhaps a little interest in and TLC for the blanket stackers might pay dividends ! ! ! .

In their defence, the guys and gals in Supply at Odiham are excellent - they're always willing to help you out, and even give you a little bit extra, when they can. Showing them a bit of respect will get you a long way. I do, however, feel for those of you with Civvy suppliers - bitter memories of initial kitting at Cranditz still make me want to kill!

Aircrew watch? Who needs an aircrew watch?
In my day one of the Tengah fast jet aces was enjoying the local social life in a Singaporean house of ill repute.
The door burst open and in came an RAF police flight sergeant who stated that he had reason to believe that the male present was a member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces and requested to see his 1250.
With charm and ease the male explained that he was a rubber planter from up-country and received a handsome apology.
As the apologetic policeman left he casually glanced at his own naked wrist and said "You don't happen to have the time by chance sport?"
"Of course", replied the flight lieutenant reaching under his bed and producing the large black dialled Omega adding the word "s***t!".
"Always catches them " said the flight sergeant opening his notebook.
"Number xxx squadron I presume Sir!".

For the love of God, please please grass this crock up! Tell the Feds, OC Supply - anything! This man is a thief and a scroteand needs to be removed, punished and made an example of. As a Stacker, I find pilfering utterly repugnant. Do it - and I am miffed that none of the other replies have suggested the same or that you are taking any action.
iccarus. Have you gone higher up the chain and taken this officially higher? Please do. If shortages are impacting on safety or operational effectiveness, then it NEEDS to be properly highlighted. I've done it myself. It gets the proper answer OR gets the proper attention to the problem.
