If you want to read Airprox reports then look no further than here:

http://www.caa.co.uk/ukab/document.asp?groupid=430

For the uninformed the UK Airprox Board is a Joint Mil/Civ Board that establishes the risk and what caused the Airprox. They usually take about 6 months to release on the web - so read all about this one in 2005 and stop the speculating...

(Last time I saw an F3 in a performance climb it was doing over 20,000fpm - dunno about you?)

The most impressive F3 performance I saw was at Duxford 97. Runway to 27,000ft in a hurry. Good stuff

Just out of curisoity and lack of knowledge, can VGS monkeys get access to the reports or would we also need to wait and be classed as 'geeks' should we want to read the information?

It was the rapidly changing numbers that I was interested in ga99js, although tradewind has put us straight on the performance of the F3. A bit like a Javelin or a Jaguar eh?

As far as TCAS is concerned it's in the public domian already what the crews do to avoid TCAS TAs and RAs. Although that didn't stop them/scopies forgetting earlier this year I seem to remember. Guys you're doing an extremely difficult and distasteful task as well as can be expected. Heaven help us all if you have to carry through with the training one day!
