Another suicide bomber gets jocks.

Two UK soldiers injured in Iraq

Black Watch battle group is based at Camp Dogwood
Two British soldiers have been seriously injured in a suicide attack in Iraq, the Ministry of Defence said.
The troops were part of the Black Watch battle group stationed at Camp Dogwood 20 miles (32km) from Baghdad, having been re-deployed from Basra.

The MoD said they were injured in the attack at 0922 local time and had been airlifted to a US field hospital.

Another very bad day, my thoughts are with the families who's loved ones are in harms way.
I'm sure that the corridors in MoD main building will be buzzing, no doubt Apache will be talked about, but really what could it do?

1. By the time it got into the desert the Jocks will be home!
2. As good as the aircraft is, it can't tell the difference between a car driven by a suicide bomber and one driven by a family man who would wish no harm to anyone.

That said, the lads will do what is asked of them, and I imagine they'd be only to pleased to dish out the good news to anyone who wants it.
