Sad news, no where is safe, they'll be axing E-3s or R-1s next!


Between them, the two Scottish bases employ nearly 5,000 people and inject almost £100m into the Scottish economy.
Do we know what percentage is involved in the manufacturing of pies?

Kinloss/Lossie Most hated stations

I would have thought that this would be welcomed news for all the English servicemen and women who just hate living in Scotland. Disaster for local economy.

I say keep them open, they are the two best stations in Britain, Yes even better than Leeming. Better than Leuchars now there a debate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think the cut backs will be amusing only in the respect of those bar stewards who are anti RAF until their livelihood is going to be affected..........swine’s.

... I take it the Crabs haven't been given the freedom of the the bourgh of Lossiemouth yet

No doubt they'll get it when the Navy move back

Kinloss have the freedom of Forres, and I believe Lossy have the freedom of Elgin

I've had the freedom many a time on the isle of Guernsey. A1 hospitality as long as you don't run out of tatoos!!

Close em both so I don't have to go back!!
