If true, I presume it would be the BN2T / Defender 4000 aircraft rather than the straight BN2B.

Haven't the Iraqi Air Force taken delivery of a couple of Seeker type aircraft (weird looking things) for this kind of role?

Was talk of a UK Police Defender being sent, but understand that this was prevented by some legal issue about UK Police officers serving abroad.

In the truest tradition of Blackadder... The normal form would be to jump out of the aircraft and spread yourself over as large a piece of airspace as possible

If that photo was taken wher I think it was then perhaps you should remove it before the chaps in the black limmo come round.

The research for the photo went like this:

Google (images) > search BN2 and Robert is my fathers brother.

I quite fancy a ride in a limo anyway. A right click on said image will get you the properties of its rightfull owner.

Think they do - as well as Cheshire.

GMP is the only one I know of with the Defender.

G-NESU, BN2B-20 ISLANDER, is registered to the NORTHUMBRIA POLICE AUTHORITY according to the CAA

The give away for Spot4's military Islander is the reg, British military roundel and huge white SFOR markings. Why send a civi police a/c and the hassle that will accompany the contract, when the mil can do it?

There is at least one UK civil owned defender that has all the holes cut in the right place for such a contract.
