Memories of Munster.

Jim-of the-bugger-grips being thrown out of the delivery room when he said to the doctor "Colonel, do you think I could have the placenta for my dog?"

Eric the fruit bat not being able to understand why he, a Royal Marines officer was routinely beaten by Atpr Mick B on the BFT.

Skinny Bob.

JB and his love/hate relationship with the Fat Controller.

Maureen and Ursula, I would have but I didn't.

Good times, great people.

Fone Effect,

Did you have a short holiday in ABZ a few years ago?

Gary Astazou - I'm just fine and living it up in south Alabama. Pool temp is now up to standard for the summer. Flying the big rig and having a blast. Email if you want more.

Jeep,

Just looked at your web page.

Do you remember staying up all night playing computer games at Palace Barracks - '85ish?

Nice to see that some good blokes are getting on well, regards to the missus.

Wizz,

Did we have computers capable of playing games back then? I certainly do. Happy days.

Good times...Waterloo Bks...76 - 79!

Some good chaps..passed through and onward.

Recall, PLW...Humphry Drinking ML..last known position in Jersey Airport! Buggers Grips Jim..theres a character...quick move from Detters for playing the field with a schoolteacher!

Uncle Joe the Q bloke..Turnip head the ASM.. Maureen and Ursula..I did!..well Ursula anyway!! Best Sqn Bar around..brilliant crowd.

Bob Glo...k, Bill W...s, Geoff H, Gerry D (Fonz) and his wife "Car park", Ken R (Mt Sgt)..what a smashing bloke, sadly shafted by the system and the 655 SSM some years later. Ron J..Sigs Sgt..all good guys.

Frank W the SSM...looked like an extra for Schindlers List! Beef Buck..r....MT Cpl extrodinaire..recall him putting cones out for HGV driver trg on the Scots Guards parade ground during a Bn Drill Parade and telling 2 Drill Blokes and the Sarnt Major to push off as he had booked it!

OP Capricorn Kesh 77..eric the goat! Great tour! What about that disco on a thurs night....the Carrickfurgus Commando's..bloody hell...mingers all of them. JB's "South of the Border..down Monaghan way" sortie!!

I recall we had 24 Sioux in the hangar at one stage..all S and we ferried the whole lot back to Wroughton NAY..being overtaken on the Autobahns on the 2 day trips back..cracking times!

Gone but not forgotten
