A few years ago some aircrew type was looking over the 10 tanker at a airshow when one of the holding studes was heard to say "Jeez, look at the state of that porker out there",whilst looking out of the flight deck window.

not sure if I am right, but I thought that Army ID card does not have a rank on it? I'm sure someone on this site knows more than me and will put the record straight. I spoke to some chap from valley this evening and he reckons there were several DCOs

The MOD 90 does not include rank as movement (mainly down) is more frequent (especially with infantry JNCOs). One can tell the difference between an officer and an OR by the number of digits in their service number. Or by the length of their hair in the photo.
