Victoria Cross programme - tonight BBC2

Might be a bit late, but for UK viewers tonight (Sun) at 8pm on BBC2 the show presented by Jeremy Clarkson on the VC is worth watching. The stories of people who were awarded the VC are quite remarkable.

I think the programme summed it up perfectly, THESE ARE REAL HEROES. It is to them and their colleagues whom we are ever indebted.

I saw Clarkson in an entirely different light after the programme. Truely inspiring.

Saw it the first time round and still as humbling after watching it the second time

A similar programme was broadcast about 10 years ago with Clive James talking about Hong Kong. He described the fighting and treatment of the PoWs. Ended with him saying about those who are buried there turing in the graves at the thought of the all the Japanses goods being sold through hong Kong.

Including his father.
